Indian Army in a good will gesture handed over a 15 year old
Pakistani boy to Pakistan authorities a day after he inadvertently crossed over
to India.
On 10 March 2016, a 15 years old boy named ‘Nadeem
Chaudhary’ resident of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir who had inadvertently crossed
the Line of Control in Naoshera Sector was apprehended by Indian Army troops on
the Line of Control.
On establishing the facts of his inadvertent crossing of
Line of Control, the authorities in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) were
informed by the Army and the boy was handed over from Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing
point to Pakistan authorities at 1140 hours on 11 March 2016 as a humanitarian
gesture.
