Polaris India Unveils DAGOR And MRZR4 For The First Time At Defexpo India 2016

Polaris India Pvt. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris
Industries Inc. the world leader in Off-Road and All-Terrain Vehicles, stole
the show at the on-going 9th edition of the Defexpo India 2016 with its latest
and acclaimed products - DAGOR (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) and
MRZR4. These vehicles have been exclusively brought to India for the first
time. Polaris India also showcased its
6-wheeled drive Off-Roader, SPORTSMAN BIG BOSS 6X6 and RANGER 6X6 800 at the
event, which is being held between 28th–31st March, 2016 at Goa.
The highlight of the expo has been the showcasing of DAGOR (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) and MRZR for the first time in India.
Polaris India has developed the DAGOR (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road)
vehicle under a contract from elements of the U.S. Special Operations Command
(SOCOM) and international Special Operations Forces (SOF) customers.

Speaking on Polaris India’s participation in the Defexpo
India 2016, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. said:

Displayed for the first time in India, the DAGOR (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) has world-class capability in extreme
off-road terrain at full payload. Its unique design allows for ease of
operation, maintenance and sustainment in support of combat operations. The
vehicle uses a readily available Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) driveline,
controls and components streamlining mechanic and operator training.
The MRZR4 is highly mobile, configurable for a variety of
applications, air transportable and has been combat-proven and purchased by
U.S. and allied forces throughout the world. MRZR4 provides extreme mobility
that defense forces can count on, for tactical deployment giving maximum
flexibility.

Both DAGOR (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) and MRZR4
are already in use by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and international
Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Allied Special Forces.
Polaris India also showcased two more products, SPORTSMAN BIG BOSS 6X6 and RANGER 6X6 800 at the Defexpo India 2016. Sportsman Big Boss
6x6 features a rare 6x6 drive system, powering all 6 of its wheels to help it
handle the toughest jobs and terrain. The RANGER 6X6 800 has a big-bore 800
twin-cylinder engine featuring EFI for fast, reliable starting in any
temperature, plus automatic adjustments for altitude.
