Commandant Pramod Kumar, Brave Son of India, Valiantly Fought To Protect Kashmiri Brothers From Pak Sponsored Terrorists on Independence Day

On 70th anniversary of Indian Independence Day, Commandant Pramod Kumar, great son of India dies while protecting his motherland. This valiant patriotic soldier has only one aim and that was to free Kashmir valley from the Pakistan sponsored terrorists; so that his fellow Indians in Kashmir can live peacefully. 

CO 49 bn CRPF Pramod Kumar got bullet injury in head while leading from the front against militants today in Nowhatta attack Srinagar. He was admitted in 92 BH  in a very critical condition but he slipped in coma. But he succumbed to his injuries later. He was 29th Batch officer & recently promoted .

7 CRPF men were also injured in firing that started at 0805 today near Nowhatta chowk, Srinagar. Troops  of 28 bn also engaged 2 militants, 1 militant reported dead soon after the encounter.

Commandant Pramod Kumar was born on 15th October 1972. He was BSc Hons graduate and joined CRPF on 01 January 1998.

Commandant Pramod Kumar Belonged to Batkhtiarpur in Patna, Bihar.

Apart from serving in all the troubled theatres of India he also served in prestigious SPECIAL PROTECTION GROUP (SPG) which protects the PM from 2011 to 2014. He got promoted to the rank of commandant just a couple of months back after putting 18 yrs of dedicated service. He is survived by Smt. Neha Tripathy (Wife) and Miss Aarna (Daughter).

This great son of India achieved martyrdom while protecting motherland from Pak sponsored terrorism. His mission will be carried forward by his brothers in arms. 

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in a series of tweets condoled his death.
