Kargil War Veteran Allegedly Beaten "For Not Saluting" Samajwadi Party Leader

Kargil War Veteran, Ganesh Kumar Shukla, a non-commissioned officer of the Army's Mahar regiment who served the nation for 22 years allegedly beaten "For Not Saluting" Samajwadi Party leader by his men. NCO Shukla has appealed Prime Minister Modi and UP CM Akhilesh Yadav while urging fellow countrymen to stand for him for justice. He threatened to self immolate if his honour is not restored. War veteran & Military Expert Col (R) Anil Kaul condemned the incident while indicating that the status of military is being gradually downgraded after independence and cautioned Governments to take action before it is too late.
