There are about 16000 institutions comprising schools and colleges, which have joined National Cadet Corps. There are 8000 more institutes, which have expressed their wish to join NCC in order to enhance morale of students. The current strength of NCC at present is 13.8 lakh. NCC is truly pan India functions to adopt a life that gives very distinct advantage in 3 fields.
