MEA Spokesperson: "Indian Software Exports & Personnel Add To The Competitiveness To The US Industry"

MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup today in his weekly interaction with media said that "Indian Software Exports & Personnel Add To The Competitiveness To The US Industry". "You know that no executive order has been signed so far. All that has happened is three private bills have been introduced in the US House of Representatives. Such bills have been introduced in the past also. And such bills has to go through the US Congressional process. So let us not pre-judge the outcome because we have seen what happened to the similar bills in the past also. If and whenever an executive order is passed, we will certainly give you our reactions", Vikas Swarup elaborated.  

MEA Spokesperson was responding to the question that lot of concerns have emerged over the President Trumps Visa policy especially the H-1B Visa, especially the Indian professionals and Indian Companies are worried what concrete steps Government of India envisaging to assuage their concerns?

"We remain in dialogue with the Trump Administration as well as the US Congress at senior level. They are fully aware of our position and I thing our position is very clear Indian software exports & Indian software personnel add to the competitiveness to the US industry".
