It flies like nothing else in its class for one simple reason, it defined the class-  the advanced light helicopter Dhruv- a tower of strength of the Indian aviation industry an indigenous product of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, HAL. 

With expertise and aircraft design and experience gained by producing over 600 Cheeta and chetak helicopters.  HAL has designed and developed Dhruv, a world-class helicopter in the 5.5 ton category. The ALH Dhruv an all-weather,  multi-role multi-mission, state-of-the-art helicopter has excellent maneuverability, user-friendly controls, no vibration, low noise level high speed, efficient lift and a host of other features, which make it superior among contemporary helicopters. It is a product of high-tech design manufactured by skilled manpower with state-of-the-art technology. 

Dhruv is a lightweight helicopter, sixty-five percent of the wet area is made of composites which are manufactured in-house in a dedicated high-tech composite manufacturing division, a center of excellence It is powered by two turbomeca TM triple three to be two turboshaft engines with full authority digital electronic control or fatak. 

It incorporates several advanced technology features like integrated dynamic system, IBS crashworthy, composite structure, hingeless main rotor blades with elastomeric bearings bearing lyst tail rotor for axis automatic flight control system and a multifunction digital glass cockpit with integrated architecture and display system. 

The IADS provides digital display tailored for each task with a high degree of automation it helps an onboard mission planning with advanced man-machine interface with the new airframe avionics and propulsion system the truth is also powered by the shut the engine to meet the requirement of integrating additional mission equipment and enhanced payload for high altitude operations equipped with an electronic warfare sweet the rover is a force to reckon with for any armed force in the world the electronic warfare sweet typically consists of radar warning receiver missile warning receiver and laser warning receiver, laser warning receiver all integrated into a single LRU the weapon system... watch full documentary at url: https://youtu.be/FmEseY8PtfY
